Free places on DofE Gold Training, Practice and Qualifying Expedition

As Lupine Adventure is a not for profit social enterprise all profits for the year are either re-invested back into the company or donated to projects to strengthen society. One of the ways that we choose to do this is to give free places on our 10 day dofe expedition programme.

In 2017 we will be offering 3 free place to  young people who wish to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition.

We will fund you a place on our 2017 Gold Expedition Training, Practice Expedition and Qualifying Expedition programme.

To qualify you must

  1. Live in the UK
  2. Have completed at least 3 of the 4 other sections of the Gold DofE (if we are short of applicants we may consider applications from those who have only completed 1 or 2 other sections so do apply anyway)
  3. Be available on the dates publicised on the Open Expedition pages
  4. Fulfil one of the requirements in the box below.

To qualify you must also fulfil one of the following criteria

  • In receipt of the Job seekers allowance or working tax credits
  • Live in a household that is in receipt of Housing Benefit or Local Housing Allowance
  • Live in local authority care or have left local authority care in the last 24 months
  • Working over 18 hours a week in a voluntary position in a socially or environmentally useful project

The only cost to you will be your transport to and from the venues and your expedition food.

If you would like to apply for one of these bursary placements then please do so via this booking form e-mail before 1 May 2017.
