Advanced Climbing Course

lead-climbingIf you have some prior climbing experience which you would like to build upon why not try one of our Advanced Climbing Courses?  These courses will generally run on a low student to Instructor ratio, usually 2:1 or even on a 1:1 basis so that you can get the most from the course.

Course content may involve areas such as:

  • Gear placement
  • Building belays
  • Movement on rock
  • Lead climbing
  • Self-rescue & problem solving
  • Abseiling safely
  • Approach and retreat from crags

The Instructor will help you develop through a personal action plan, focusing on the areas you wish to develop within your climbing and identifying additional learning opportunities.

Courses will involve on the crag learning, with plenty of climbing generally on quality multi-pitch routes in a fantastic location.  If the weather does turn against us, there are often sheltered spots allowing teaching to go on, though if things get too bad, or if appropriate to the course content there is also a choice of indoor climbing facilities.

These courses will be run in North Wales by fully qualified instructors with a wealth of local knowledge though can be run elsewhere by arrangement.

A typical 2 day course would cost around £160 per person based on a ratio of 1 instructor to 2 clients, though discounts may be available for longer courses, Please get in touch for more info.
