We are available to run or help supervise a variety of youth work in the outdoors.

Typical groups we run sessions for include

  • School enrichment weeks
  • BTEC and A' Level sports students
  • Fifth and sixth form fund raising groups
  • Expeditions for ASDAN Students
  • Scout Groups
  • GSCE and A' level Geography field trips. You tell us where you want to go or what sorts of geological formations you want to show the students and we will take you to see them.
  • Year group activity camps

We can supply all necessary group safety kit as well as a large amount of kit for individuals such as walking boots and waterproofs.

We are ideally placed to run activities in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cumbria, Lancashire and North Wales (Snowdonia). We are able to provide staff for activities in other areas and our prices are competetive in most areas of the UK.

Feedback

"Alice, Harry and Lee all engaged really-well with the Young Persons and Adults alike and encouraged all the Young People to surpass their expectations. Harry specifically during the three days he spent with us fully engaged and enthused the Young People in his seemingly limitless knowledge on Geology, Flora, Wild life, Mapping skills, Myths and general enthusiasm for the Outdoors / Mountains and all related items. Alice was brilliant at working with all the Young Persons on the one day climbing experience and was wonderful and patient at working with and encouraging the Young Persons who felt rock climbing was way outside their comfort zone."

I'd just like to thank Ben, Dave, Clive and yourself for organising and delivering excellent supervision of our students on Friday - although we were unable to complete our original plan the students all enjoyed the alternative climb and felt a sense of personal achievement.

Could you please thank Ben and his team for accommodating our late arrival, as well as the differing physical needs of our students, with great care and professionalism.

Good rapport with the whole group, very friendly and educational. Made safety briefing fun and informal. Nature points were awarded for interesting observations. It was clear that there was real enthusiasm for the outdoors and this was infectious.

Well prepared and equipped for different conditions and problems. Had alternative plans for bad weather or when one asthmatic in the group found that their inhaler was not working properly. As it happened by keeping the pace slow and offering to carry their rucksack we made it to the top of Scafell Pike without using the alternatives.

Good balance between the majority of the group who had a faster pace and two slower members who tended to lag behind. Frequent rests were arranged to keep the group together. At no time did we feel rushed even though it took us much longer than expected.
