Welcome to Lupine Adventure Co-operative

We are a not-for-profit, social enterprise, providing hill and mountain based activities for young people and adults.

We have over 15 years experience providing high quality Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) expedition programmes to schools, youth groups and individuals. We staff all expeditions in remote countryside, and all practice expeditions at a ratio of 1:7. This ensures the safety of all participants and creates a high quality learning environment.

In addition to DofE Expeditions for Schools and Youth Groups and Open DofE Expeditions for Individuals, we offer a range of other outdoor activities, challenges, courses and events.

Client Testimonials

Professional, knowledgeable, caring and positive team. They make it as enjoyable and successful as possible for everyone. I recommend Lupine Adventure Co-operative 100%.

Hey Lupine!
Julia and Sascha here, two students who just got back from their Gold assessed exped in the Yorkshire Dales last night. We just wanted to communicate just how AMAZING this expedition was, and genuinely how amazing our mountain leaders were. Our group had Rob, and the other had Steven (stephen?), and they genuinely made our experience what it was. Rob was so so supportive and helpful and kind, gave us so many trips and tricks and genuinely made it the best expedition we had ever been on. Of course the routes were incredible, and the landscape was amazing, so thanks to all of you at Lupine for that!
We hope this can be communicated to the two of them that the 10 of us are genuinely so grateful, and speaking on the behalf of everyone else had some of the best days of our lives.
Thank you for the experience!
Sascha and Julia 🙂

Both Charlie and Trev showed good leadership skills and were very helpful to all members of Team Age UK.

I have no hesitation in recommending Lupine Adventure Co-op and the excellent service they provide, to any other group who are doing a similar challenge event.

Andy was a fantastic guide taking a group of students and keeping us all safe on our first alpine adventure. He made sure we were all comfortable and involved us in the route planning, providing lots of crucial training. Thank you!

For a solo hiker used to their own company I was pleased to find I was made welcome by the instructor and the group even though my pace over steep ground was slower than the rest of the group. Normally I would avoid group things like this course but I left thinking maybe I would do another more advanced navigation course.

We are a family of 5 ranging in age from 14 – 54 years old with virtually no climbing experience. Andy put together a great day of varied and challenging yet safe climbs that met all our needs. We learnt a lot and came away with happy memories of a good day out! Many thanks.
