Activities for Scout and Guide groups
Lupine Adventure Co-operative have a long history of running activities for Scout and Guide groups around the country. We've run sponsored challenge events, walks up specific mountains, delivered problem solving games at camps, run rock climbing sessions, delivered navigation training and supervised DofE expeditions.
For Explorer Scouts or Ranger Guides aged 14 and over we can run Mountain Training’s Hill Skills and Mountain Skills courses.
We can also offer accredited, practical, one-day Awareness Workshops in Leave No Trace journeying.
We can adapt our programmes to suit your group’s requirements and support achievement of activity badges and challenge awards and deploy Mountain Leaders, Rock Climbing Instructors and other activity leaders all over the UK.
Some examples of activities that we can run include
- Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition supervision
- Sponsored mountain climbs
- Rock climbing taster days
- Navigation training days
- Hill and Mountain Skills courses
- Leave No Trace training
We can sometimes help keep your costs down by including any of volunteers who have undertaken suitable, nationally recognised training as competent assistants thus reducing the number of staff that we need to employ.
Lupine are a not-for-profit company meaning that we have no shareholders or owners to pay profits to, in addition we also pay all staff (members and freelancers alike) the same, living wage.
